Dear Sir/Madam

I am writing to you to enquire whether there are any positions within your company for a Bosun. I have been working at sea for nineteen years during which time I have amassed an excellent knowledge of drillship and oilrig operations and developed excellent seamanship skills. I have learned that teamwork is essential whilst working onboard and good leadership skills are required to effectively manage a team. I have obtained these leadership skills whilst working as a Deck Petty Officer.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Regards

Andre Siebritz

Thanks for affording me this opportunity . I am a semi-skilled boilermaker (national certificate 2 ) , and boiler operator . I was working in a factory building agricultural machinery , starting to build machines from nothing and in most cases up to spraypainting the final product . I also do have experience as a boiler operator , where i was basically operating a whole grain drying plant from start of production till finish product , that includes operating screw conveyers bringing product in , operating the oil fueled boiler , operating the beltpress , seperator and belt conveyer and despatching product .I have not been offshore , but as you can see i am prepared to do anything that is expected of me and more as i see myself as multiskilled .I hope you can afford me the oppertunity to be an asset to your company .
